Call Blocking

Call Management

 

Go to Numbers > Call Blocking

This area will Effectively control incoming calls by explicitly blocking or permitting calls from designated geographic areas and specific phone numbers. This feature is valuable for managing unwanted solicitations or ensuring that calls from specific business lines are filtered appropriately, enhancing overall call management and efficiency. Note: Use the checkboxes to change options for multiple items at the same time.

 

 

 

 

Add Blocking Rule

  1. To set up a new rule to block a phone number click the “Add Blocking Rule”
  2. Rule Type
    1. enables you to “Allow” or “Block” a call
  3. Blocked Call Action
    1. Allows user to set what the last action message will be received when calling from a blocked number
  4. Apply Rule
    1. Click the “Apply Rule to All Numbers” checkbox to enable the rule
  5. Calls Received From
    1. Area
      1. Allows you to set a specific area you want to block a call from anywhere in the United States, US Territories, Canada, and the Carribean.
    2. Digits
      1. Allows you to block numbers entering specific digits, such as area codes. (must enter at least one digit)
  6. Save
    1. Click “Save” to confirm changes or “Close” to cancel


Filter Options

allows you to filter your blocked rules using the dropdowns, once you selected your filters hit “Apply Filters” to yield results.  To return to the original view press the “Show Full List” buttons

 

 

Edit Rule

  1. To make any changes click the “Edit” button

 

 

Delete Rule

  1. To remove your call blocking list click the “Delete” button


Enable/Disable Blocking Rule

  1. Allows you to toggle between On/Off to turn your call blocking on demand
