Hunt Groups

Go to Numbers > Hunt Groups

This area will allow you to optimize call distribution by utilizing hunt groups, a powerful feature that efficiently directs calls to a group of numbers in either a Linear or Circular order. Create a Hunt Group below, then set the hunt group on the Call Forwarding page, designating a number to ring through the group. 

Note: Setting up Hunt Groups incurs a one-time $5 fee and a $5 monthly charge, delivering enhanced call management flexibility. 

1. Follow Me (Linear): Hunting will always begin with the first number on the list and continue down the list in order.
2. Call Distribution (Circular): Hunting will begin with the next number on the list after the number where hunting ended on the previous call.
   

Add a Hunt Group

1. To add create a new Hunt Group click the “+Add Hunt Group” button
   
2. Hunt Group Name
   1. To add a name for your Hunt Group fill in the “Hunt Group Name” text box
      
3. Hunting Type
   1. To select how you want your Hunt Group to flow (either Linear or Circular), click the drop-down menu
      
4. Audio
   1. Initial Hunt Group Greeting
      1. To add which Hunt Group greeting you would like to use, use the drop-down menu
         
   2. Personalized Greeting
      1. To set your personalized greeting use the drop-down menu (Custom messages are added in the custom audio screen. Goto Custom Audio
         
5. Timer
   1. To set how long the hunting for a call will last use the “Hunting will end after” text box to enter the number of seconds. NOTE: Must be a value between 0-300.
      
6. End of Hunt
   1. To set what you would like to have the call do after it goes through the Hunt Group, click the “If the call is not answered or if hunting times out” drop-down menu
      
7. Message
   1. When choosing the “Play Personalized Message & Disconnect Call” you may choose which audio is selected by using the drop-down menu
      
8. Save
   1. To apply these settings click the “I fully understand and agree” check box and click the save button or to cancel click the “Close” button

Edit

To make any changes to you Hunt Group, click the “Edit” button

Mailbox

1. To setup/edit your Hunt Group mailbox click the “Mailbox” button.
   
2. Password
   1. To set up a password enter a four-digit pin in the “Password” textbox. Passwords must be 4 digits long and cannot start with a 0.
      

Voice Mail Settings

1. File Type
   1. Allows you to select either a MP3 or WAV file for your voicemail
      
2. Max Length
   1. Allows you to set the number of minutes the length of a Voice Mail is.
      NOTE: Maximum voicemail length must be between 0-10 minutes.
3. Custom Greeting
   1. Allows you to add a custom greeting by using the drop-down menu. (Custom messages are added in the custom audio screen. Goto Custom Audio)
      

Message Email Settings

1. To have Voicemails sent to your email, click the “Send Message Emails” checkbox to have this feature enabled. 
   
2. To enter the email address you would like to have the Voice Mails sent, enter a valid email address in the “Send To” text box
   
3. To select how the Voice Mail is sent use the “Send As” drop-down menu
   

Delete

1. To delete a Hunt Group click the “Delete” button
   
2. To confirm your Hunt Group removal click the confirm checkbox then “Delete” or “Close” to cancel the action.
   

Hunt Numbers

1. To manage which numbers are in your Hunt Group click the “Hunt Numbers” button. Allows you to add/edit/remove numbers to your Hunt Group
   
2. To add numbers click the “+Add Hunt Group Number”
   
   1. Name
      1. To add the name of this number, enter it in the “Name” text box
         
   2. Number
      1. To add the specific number you would like, enter it in the “Number:” text box
         
   3. Rings
      1. To set the number of rings this number will receive enter the value in the “Rings” text box.
         
         NOTE: Rings must be a number from 0 to 15.
         
3. Active
   1. To activate this number in your Hunt Group, click the “Active” checkbox.
      
4. Back to Hunt Groups
   1. Allows you to return to back your Hunt Groups
      

Edit

1. To edit numbers of the Hunt Group, click the “Edit” button
   

Delete

1. To delete a Hunt Group Number click the “Delete” button
   
   1. To confirm your Hunt Group Number removal click the confirm checkbox then “Delete” or “Close” to cancel the action.
