Kall8 VoIP

Go to VoIP Platform > VoIP Subscribers

This area will allow you to view and add a VoIP Subscriber to your account. Kall8 can enhance your business number with new VoIP voice solutions, starting at just $9.95/month. Add Subscriber

  1. To add a Subscriber, click the “+ Add Subscriber” button.
  2. Subscription Type
    1. The Select Phone drop-down will only show local numbers on your Kall8 account NOT Assigned to VoIP Subscribers. If no numbers are shown in the drop-down, you will need to Add a Local Number and return here to add a VoIP Subscriber.
    2. To Select your phone number (after you added a Local number) use the “Select Phone” drop-down menu

    3. To add an extension, enter the 1 to 4-digit-number in the “Extension (optional)” textbox. NOTE: the extension cannot start with a 9.
    4. To edit your TimeZone, use the “TimeZone” drop-down menu.
  3. User Credentials
    1. To add your email, enter it in the “Email” textbox
    2. To edit your password, enter it in the “Password” textbox. NOTE: a password will be randomly generated when you are adding a new subscriber, which you will be able to change during set up.  
  4. Subscriber Information (required for 911)
    1. NOTE: The subscriber name and address below is required and will be registered as the identity provided for this subscriber to 911.
    2. Add your Name and Address in the corresponding textboxes
  5. Save
    1. To save the added subscriber click the confirmation checkbox, then click the “Save” button or to close out click the “Cancel” button. NOTE: A one-time setup fee of $9.95 and a VoIP Subscriber charge of $9.95/month per subscriber will be added to this customer account.

 

RingSquared App

  1. Once you have created a VoIP Subscriber, you can now set up your RingSquared app to send/receive calls. 
  2. Log in at the RingSquared CommPortal https://connect.ringsquared.com/, using the credentials you set up for the VoIP Subscriber.
  3. Once you have successfully logged in, it will direct you to a Welcome message followed by Change Password, Change Pin, Greeting and lastly finished.  Fill out each tab accordingly.  Finally, you will be able to use your RingSquared app to send/receive calls.  For more information on the RingSquared app, Goto VoIP Platform>VoIP Help>RingSquared UCaaS App Support.


Refresh

  1. After adding a VoIP Subscriber, click the “Refresh” button.  This will allow you to see if VoIP Subscriber that is pending successfully went through.  Once successful you will be able to use the VoIP subscriber. 

Delete

  1. To remove a VoIP subscriber, click the “Delete” button.

  2. To confirm the removal of a VoIP Subscriber, click the confirmation checkbox then click the “Delete” button. To close out of this window and not delete the VoIP Subscriber, click the “Cancel” button.

Password Reset

  1. To reset your password, click the “Password Reset” button. 

Devices

  1. To assign, or view, which devices are connected to your VoIP Subscribers, click the “Devices” button.

  2. To assign a specific device use the “Assign Device” drop-down menu to select your device you would like to have your VoIP Subscriber connected to. NOTE: Please confirm the device assignment is correct. Devices assigned to a subscriber are subject to a one-time setup fee of $9.95 and a recurring monthly VoIP Line charge of $9.95. 
  3. To confirm the assignment, click the confirmation checkbox then click the “Assign” button.


  4. To unassign the device, click the “Unassign” button.

E911

  1. To add/edit your Emergency 911 Information contact, click the “E911” button. NOTE: The subscriber name and address below is required and will be registered as the identity provided for this subscriber to 911.
  2. Add your Name and Address then click the confirmation checkbox, then click the “Save” button. To close out and not make any changes, click the “Cancel” button.

 

Extension

  1. To add an extension for the VoIP Subscriber click the “Extension” button. 
  2. To set the extension, enter a 1-to-4-digit length extension in the “Extension” textbox. NOTE: The extension cannot begin with a 9.

  3. To save the extension click the “Save” button or to close out click the “Cancel” button.


Edit

  1. To edit your VoIP Subscriber, click the “Edit” button.

  2. Label
    1. To change the name of your Label, enter that in the “Label” textbox.
  3. Direct Inbound Call Options
    1. To set the number of minutes a call’s max length can be, enter a value in the “Max Call Length” textbox. NOTE: Maximum call length must be between 1-360 minutes.
    2. To enable address lookups, click the “Automatic Address Lookup” checkbox.  NOTE: Automatic address lookups are 12¢ per call.
    3. To adjust the TimeZone, use the “TimeZone” drop-down menu. 
    4. To have notifications of the call (not a Voice Mail) sent to your email, click the “Enable Notification Emails” checkbox then fill out your email address in the “Emails” textbox. To have multiple email use the comma in between emails.  Example: example123@example.com, example456@example.com
  4. Outbound Call Options
    1. To set up your Caller ID use the drop-down menu.
    2. To set the number of minutes a call’s max length can be, enter a value in the “Max Call Length” textbox. NOTE: Maximum call length must be between 1-360 minutes.
  5. Save
    1. To save your changes click the confirmation checkbox, then click the “Save” button. To cancel and not make any changes, click the “Close” button.

 

 Caller Name

  1. To enable/create a Caller Name for your Caller ID, click the “Caller Name” button

  2. Caller-ID Name (CNAM) will display on the CallerId for outbound calls made from the subscriber phone number. The outbound caller-id number setting for this subscriber must be set the subscriber phone number. Outbound calls to mobile phone numbers may not always display the caller name.
  3. Set Display Type
    1. To select the default Caller-ID Name click the “City, State (Default)” bubble. 
      1. City, State (Default) - presents the city and state to the caller on outbound calls from this number. This option is the default for every number and has no associated charge.
    2. To create your own caller name, click the “Custom” bubble, then enter your name you would like in the “Caller-ID Name (CNAM)” text box. NOTE: Caller-ID Name has a maximum length of 15 characters.
      1. Custom - will present the custom text set in this field as the caller name for caller-id for outbound calls made from this number. Setting this option is subject to a $2 one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly charge of $2 per month.
  4. Save
    1. To confirm your change to the Default option, click the confirmation check box then click the “Save button. To discard your changes, click the “Close” button.
    2. To confirm your change to the Custom option, click the confirmation check box then click the “Save button. To discard your changes, click the “Close” button.

Recording 

  1. Enable Call Recording
    1. To enable call recording for this number, click the “Call Recording Enabled” checkbox.
  2. Email Call Recordings
    1. To have call recording emailed to you click the “Send link to recording by Email” checkbox and enter the email you want it sent to in the Email field.
  3. Recording Length
    1. To record the entire phone call, click the “Record Entire Call” checkbox.
    2. To limit the recording length, uncheck “Record Entire Call” and enter the amount of seconds you would like to record for each call.
    3. To only record phone calls that are longer than a certain duration, click the “Enable Minimum Call Length” checkbox and enter the minimum length of call you would like to record.
    4. To keep all call recordings and not have them deleted click the “Keep Call Recordings Forever”
    5. To limit how long you want to keep a recording, enter how many days you would like to keep them.
  4. Greetings
    1. To select the default greeting, click the “Default Greeting” bubble
    2. To select a personalized greeting, click the “Personalized Greeting” bubble then use the drop down to select which audio file you wish to use.
    3. To have your greeting in Spanish, click the “Spanish Greeting” bubble
    4. To not have a greeting, click the “No Greeting” bubble
    5. After making changes read the Confirmation prompt select the “I understand and agree” checkbox then hit “Save”
